Gas Cooktop Installation & Safety Testing – Cherrybrook
We were recently called out to a home in Cherrybrook to complete a gas cooktop installation as part of a kitchen upgrade. The homeowner wanted the old unit replaced quickly, safely, and by a licensed gas plumber.
After arriving on site, we isolated the gas supply and removed the existing cooktop. The new, client-supplied gas cooktop was then installed and securely fitted into the benchtop. A stainless steel infill sheet was added to neatly close the side gap and give the installation a clean finish.
The job was completed within a single visit. We supplied and installed a new gas ball valve and flexible hose, then tested and commissioned the cooktop along with the other gas appliances around the home. A gas leak test was also carried out at the meter to confirm everything was operating safely.
Once testing was complete, we cleaned the work area and removed all rubbish, leaving the kitchen ready to use the same day and the homeowner with peace of mind.
