Restoring the Gas Supply and Resetting A Hot Water System in Burwood
Our team recently investigated why the gas supply was affecting this Burwood's home hot water system. Our insured and licensed gas fitters began by inspecting the main gas meters and boundary regulators and discovered that the step-down regulator had been isolated.
After the over-pressure shut-off device (OPSO) was safely reset, the gas supply was gradually restored.
Moving on to the second part of the job, our gas plumbers accessed the meter cupboard, restoring power to the hot water heaters. We then gained access to the roof to reset the circulation and instantaneous gas heaters and thoroughly tested the system from top to bottom to ensure that everything was working properly.
The hot water heaters were then successfully restarted and tested and our team secured the roof access hatch and returned all access equipment to its original place.
Through this job, this Burwood home's gas and hot water systems will last for years into the future without any malfunctions so the family can enjoy perfectly hot water.
